Miss Kylie

Teaching in 2026 Beginner,Novice,

Intermediate,Masters & Open Adults

Open Elite Senior

Hi, I’m Kylie Denham, the Club Principal and President of Port Macquarie Physie and Dance. I’ve been passionate about physie since I was 3 years old and have been with APDA since its inception in 2012. With over 20 years of experience teaching physie, I dedicate my time to helping our ladies group become the best physie dancers they can be.

This year, I’m excited to also be taking on the Open Elite Seniors and can’t wait to work with these talented dancers! I’m truly grateful to be part of such a supportive community, and I look forward to another amazing year of growth, learning, and dancing!

Miss Lucie

Juniors  5-12 Years Teacher

Hi, I’m Lucie Barrois! I started BJP in 1997 at the age of 7, took a couple of breaks over the years, and then returned in 2012 when it became APDA. After taking some time off to be a mum, I came back with a bang! Alongside physie, I also trained in ballet, jazz, and contemporary from the age of 12 for about 6 years.

Over the past 3 years, I’ve had the honor of being a National Finalist, placing 4th twice and qualifying for the Grand Champion Lady section. I’m so excited to take on the Junior Teachers role in 2025 and help guide the next generation of dancers. It’s been such a rewarding journey, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings!

Miss Chloe

Seniors Years 13,14,15,16 Teacher

Hi, I’m Chloe Lenehan, 21 years old, and my Physie journey started when I was 7. Physie has always been my passion, and it’s been a huge part of my life even beyond my teen years. Some of my proudest achievements include placing 5th at nationals in the 14-year age group, and being a national finalist for BJP 11 times and APDA twice!

What I love most about Physie is the sense of working towards a goal and the lifelong friendships it’s given me. It’s not just about dancing—it’s about growing as a person and watching others do the same. Physie is a lifelong passion, and I’m so excited to continue this journey!

Miss Toni

Tiny Tots Teacher

Hello, I’m Toni Lawes, and I’m excited to be teaching the Tiny Tots in 2025! With 44 years of teaching experience in the NSW Department of Education, I’ve worked across various roles, mostly with children aged 5 to 8, particularly in Kindergarten. I’ve had the pleasure of preparing dance items for school concerts and festivals, which was incredibly rewarding as I saw children grow in skills, confidence, and their love for dance.

As a child, I was part of the Merrylands BJP Club in Sydney, and as an adult, I’ve been involved with both this club and APDA for the past 5 years. I’m looking forward to working with our youngest members in 2025, helping them develop physical skills, personal growth, and lifelong friendships within the physie community!

Miss Robyn

Relief Teacher 2025

Hi, I’m Robyn Domanski, and I’ve been doing physie for over 35 years! I retired from my teaching career in 2023, but my passion for staying fit and dancing has never wavered. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching dance to many students who performed at events like the Northcoast Dance Festivals, school and community events, and the Port Eisteddfods.

I joined Port Physie Club in 1995 and have been with APDA since 2012. Along the way, I’ve made amazing friendships, embraced the challenge of learning new routines, and received incredible teaching and support.

In 2024, I had the privilege of teaching our junior dancers throughout the year, and I’m excited to continue supporting my fellow teachers and students while being part of the ladies class in 2025. Let’s make this year amazing!
